The working class has seen enough. All are rising, except our pay. This fall, the TUC, and UNISON will host two events in Westminster to lobby MPs on the rising cost of living.

The fight for a pay increase will target MPs in their local constituencies and at the Houses of Parliament following the significant TUC demonstration in London in June, which served as the catalyst for the We Demand Better campaign. Public service workers will attend to force the politicians to pay attention.

The TUC is urging employees to explain the true nature of the cost of the living crisis to their local MPs during constituency surgeries on October 14.

This is a component of a collective union effort aimed at getting the government to pay attention and act quickly to improve income and living standards. Members of UNISON are urged to mark the dates in their calendars.
