  • ‘𝗡𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗜 𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿’ 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟯: 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶 𝗶𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲

This August, many sitcoms, rom-com, and coming-of-age classics are returning to Netflix after being left out for a while. Lots of old favorites will be added this month, but more new content in the coming days and weeks.

One of the most anticipated releases this month, on August 12th, is the third season of Never Have I Ever, created by Mindy Kaling and starring Maitreyi Ramakrishnan. She's finally dating someone, and someone turns out to be the guy of her dreams, the hugely popular and ultra-hot Paxton Hall-Yoshida, and they've finally made their debut as a couple at Sherman Oaks High. As a result, Devi's social status skyrockets. But despite living her dream, the new trailer shows that things aren't really easy for Devi. For one thing, all the popular kids at school give her sideways glances. As your therapist points out, getting into a relationship may not be the magic solution to all your problems. Also, after many different teasers in the trailer for our favorite characters, we see that Devi's eyes have landed on a new guy. But hey, who doesn't like fantasy? Well, there's good news too: It was recently announced that Netflix has been working on the show for its fourth season, which is set to premiere in 2023. But Never Have I Ever Season 4 will be the show's final season, so you're going to have to love these next two seasons with Devi and the rest of the cast.

  • Remembering the king of Bollywood disco songs: Bappi Lahiri

Bappi Lahiri not just gave Bollywood some of its best disco beats but also sang some hugely famous chartbusters in his individual and harmonious voice. He is mainly known for his up-tempo, dance grooving tunes. Bappi broke through during the 80s, showcasing synthesized disco in Indian movies. Excluding music, he is the ‘King of Bling.’ Specifically, he was always seen wearing a lot of jewelry. Owning over 754 grams of gold chains and bracelets, Bappi gets fantasy from The King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley.

He would take motivation from foreign music, testing great tracks and executing them into the Indian scene. Here are some iconic songs of Bappi Lahiri's - tracks which he not only composed but also lent his voice to.

    Dil Mein Ho Tum
This song is from the movie “Satyamev Jayate”. ‘Dil Mein Ho Tum’ is a different song from Bappi Lahiri. This is especially mild in tune with a slow rhythm. It is not the commonly fast pace song that Bappi is famous for.

    Yaad Aa Raha Hai
‘Yaad Aa Raha Hai’ is another Bollywood top pick from the movie Disco Dancer (1982). It is mainly a high-tempo, minimalist electronic disco song. Starting slow, the fast beat kicks will have audio lover's feet drumming to the disco elements. In the movie the song features Mithun Chakraborty, rocking and grooving along with his guitar.

    Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re
‘Yaar Bina Chain Kahan Re’ is a retro song, which contains a marvelous melodious beat to it. This tuneful piece was sung in a duet form by Bappi Lahiri and British-Indian singer-composer Sistla Janaki.

    Chirodini Tumi Je Amar
The song is a remake of the Indian movie “Satyamev Jayate”, with the track being ’‘Dil Mein Ho Tum’. this song is from an Indian-Bengali film Amar Sangi. The other song of this film was also composed by Bappi.

    Tamma Tamma Loge
‘Tamma Tamma Loge’ is a positively high-tempo track. Listeners will want to break a move on the dance floor and even in the shower. Giving its very own modern spin, The song also had a remake in the very recent picture Badrinath Ki Dulhania.
