  • Hello Friends & WhatsOn Team,
Thank you very much for your messages of condolence; they are deeply appreciated by my family and me.
My mother, Mrs. Maya, was the foundation of our journey. She gave us her front room to kickstart WhatsOn and remained our fiercest defender against every challenge—the proof of her strength and dedication is forever captured in the "Mother V Power" video. Due to the ongoing war in the Middle East, flights are limited, and I am unfortunately unable to arrive as quickly as I had hoped. Therefore, a special thank you to Arman and Sabbir for attending the funeral in my absence.
In accordance with our cultural customs, please help us mark the The Three-Day Mourning period.
The 40th Day Milad: We will organize a Milad, including a recitation of the Holy Book by friends and relatives and the feeding of the poor.
Thank you again for your unwavering support.
    Best Regards; Sam

  • WHAT a coincident, I find myself attending a course in Fircroft College. George Cadbury Jnr, founder of Cadbury Chocolate, turned his house in to a College in 1909. This was for his workers, encouraging them to increase their knowledge and skills to help them to meet their potential and pass their learning on to their comrades. Deep in the village his house is the College, next to it Student Accommodation, transforming lives for a better world.

  • “Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.” - KARL MARX
