Something which I always look forward to in November is my annual visit to this excellent show, created a few years ago by my good friend, Ged Graham; a show which combines Irish music and dance with traditional Christmas material in a fresh and exciting way. 

After a visit to the Wycombe Swan last year, it was back to my regular venue, the Lichfield Garrick, for this year's Saturday matinee and it was a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon, especially when combined with the opportunity to enjoy time in the historic and cultural city of Lichfield. As always, the cast entertained us royally with songs, music, dancing and stories, encouraging plenty of audience participation along the way. 

This is a show that I never tire of seeing and it goes a long way towards putting me in the mood for the Christmas season (which I celebrate in earnest, come December). I hope that it will continue to entertain audiences, both around the British Isles and further afield for many years to come.
