Gold Uses

You can currently create advanced weapons and tools with gold. There's now gilded items that require gold to create. These include a gilded axe, pick, and steel hammer. You will need to create a gilded steel rod to create each of these which requires 20 gold. The tools themselves also require additional gold, so this can be a bit pricey for the amount of gold you require. You also can use gold to create gold blocks if you want to show off or highlight some particular part of your island.

How to get Gold

It’s very similar to obtaining gold obtaining gears. The adventurer portal will take you to another island, which is where you’ll find the Slime one.

First, create a sword. This is very easy as you only need 20x wood. You will need this to pass the Purple Portal on your island and get to the vendor area. Look for an Adventurer vendor near the Mine area. It will look like this:

You can now simply enter the portal by using a slime key, thanks to a recent update! Simply enter the portal and you will find your way to Slime Island.

You’re now on the island that spawns the slime. Kill them until they drop the BuffalkorKey! You can kill a lot of them until you get the Buffalkor Key. Once you have it, you can move on to the purple portal and open it. This is the new island you can access that has ore you can mine. This is also where you’ll find the new Buffalkor Mab. This monster resembles a buffalo, and it can be killed. These monsters can sometimes drop gold so you can keep trying to kill them.

This is not the only way to obtain gold. There are also gold veins in this region. This is a rare spawn but you can mine ore and stones that spawn on the island to encourage one to spawn. Because monsters can take forever to kill, this is the best way to do it. However, if you have the upgraded weapons they are easier to kill. These can be mined over and over until a gold one appears. You can keep doing this until you have all the gold you want!

Mining Gold Nodes

The spawn chance for the ore is around 10%, and the gold ore exclusively spawns on Buffalkor Island. So find a Gold Node and farm it, the number of hits needed to mine it are 14 with the iron pickaxe and 10 with the gilded steel pickaxe
