Best Practice Network is committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of background, has access to an excellent education. This vision is shared with thousands of education professionals across the UK and beyond, working together to make it a reality.

Collaboration and Expertise

Through a strong network of delivery partners, schools, and collaboration with the Department for Education, Best Practice Network offers high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and nationally recognised qualifications. These programmes support aspiring and practising teachers, school leaders, early years educators, teaching assistants, and Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs).

New delivery partners are continuously welcomed to expand access to accredited professional development. The Pegasus Partnership Trust is one such valued partner. International collaborations further extend the reach of DfE-accredited National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) worldwide.

Fully Funded Programmes and Apprenticeships

A wide selection of fully funded programmes and apprenticeships is available, offering valuable pathways to career progression and classroom impact. Many are funded by the Department for Education, including the Teacher Apprenticeship programme – a school-based route with no cost to the learner, thanks to the Apprenticeship Levy.

Government-funded Early Years Apprenticeships are also available, supporting early education professionals. Each apprenticeship programme is designed to boost professional skills and enrich the learning environment.

Tailored Support for a Diverse Audience

Training and qualifications are tailored to meet the needs of educators at every stage – from those launching teaching careers through Initial Teacher Training (ITT), to experienced school leaders undertaking the NPQ for Headship (NPQH). Other programmes include the NPQ for SENCOs, supporting leadership in SEND provision, and the Level 4 Diploma for School Business Managers (DSBM), strengthening operational leadership in schools.

International schools also benefit from accredited CPD, workshops, and leadership qualifications through Best Practice Network’s global partnerships.
