Abortion Law Protected: Kansas Voters makes it a Victory!

Women law has always moved the society, but women law has always been looked down and also have been termed as “luxury”. Simon de Beauvoir in her famous book said, “one is not born a woman but becomes one”. This society has always discriminated along the gender line and women as being looked upon as the “other” or “weaker” sex in terms of their counter part. Women has been denied all the basic rights to them whether it being the right to vote or right to freedom.
First time voters have weight in on the issue since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade judgement of 1973. Kansas voters rejected an attempt to strip protection from their state constitution on Tuesday. This protects people’s right to end a pregnancy in the Great plains state as nationwide access continues to crumble. According to preliminary election results, 59% voted against the Value Them Both amendments. The ballot measured defeat means abortion will remain protected as a right under existing provisions of the state constitution.
