The companion film to Halsey’s new album, ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power,’ is now available to stream on HBO Max.
The film, described as “a disruptive album and film experience from Halsey’s mind,” was previously only available in IMAX theaters.
According to the film’s synopsis “Set to the songs of Halsey’s fourth studio album, this one-of-a-kind film experience stars the two-time GRAMMY nominee as the youthful and pregnant Queen Lila.” Lila learns her potential to generate life after a horrific event awakens a paranormal power within her (and end it).
This redolent, horror-tinged fairytale examines the maze of sexuality and birth, providing a spectacular visual treat for aficionados.
The music film first came in IMAX theaters in August. From more than 70 theaters around the world, this film was gathered nearly $1 million at the box office.
Halsey’s new album is a “concept album about the joys and horrors of pregnancy and childbirth,” she said. The singer also released a trailer for the film, which will be called Halsey: A Concept Album.
The film, ‘If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power’ written by Halsey and directed by Colin Tilley. And this film stars a singer/actress. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross of Nine Inch Nails joined her on her new album, Everything You’ve Come To Expect. The film was produced by Halsey, Jamee Ranta, and Anthony Li.
