Instagram is all set to launch a theme which will stop the over-usage of scrolling for “too long” by teens.

Instagram will prevent teen users from spending too long scrolling through posts with a particular theme. The feature will be rolled out across the countries like US, The UK, Canada, Ireland , Australia, and New Zealand. Teen users devote too many time of their in the mindless scrolling of the feedback page. Instagram now will hit with a notification suggesting that the teens look at other types of material instead of mindless scrolling. This is the boon for the social media, as this scrolling kills too many time and energy.

This feature is designed “to encourage teens to discover something new”, according to a statement posted by parent company Meta. Users will be given an option to “choose what to explore next” and presented with an array of different topics unrelated to whatever they were previously looking at. Recently in 2021, Netflix had released a documentary-series on the social media impact especially on teens. The Virtual world made their life a living hell.
