OK GO announce first album in over a decade with TWO new singles out today!
Listen to “A Good, Good Day at Last,”
An absolutely great song and considering that I’ve heard their music before I wouldn’t hear anything less. Filled with guitar and drums riffs, bass and cracking vocals.
The accompanying video is just as good to check out
Listen to “Going Home”
Watch Karan Singh’s meditative lyric video for it
One of the pro’s of watching a lyrical video is that you can mime along, the other is the artistic way that it’s all been put together. I look at it and think ‘tetris meets candycrush’ but like it nonetheless

Phonseca make for a deep, contemplative listen with introspective new electronica single ‘When Night Equals Day’
Listen
Watch
The song has beats and electronic sounds to it and the female vocals weave the whole way through as do the synth-pop beats. Though it’s not completely Indie it’s got the attitude of it.
The video is thought provoking as you wonder what’s going on in the background as even though you notice things you don’t glance it much
On March 28th, Phonseca will launch the new album at The Hen And Chicken, Bristol. Tickets here.
Pretty Green backed 19 year olds Marseille launch video for their empowering indie anthem ‘History’!
Watch
I’ve only seen this video once but was completely gripped by it after forty-odd seconds. What I enjoy about it’s made to circulate around the one single guy, and black and white makes it more interesting making it look more documentary
Super Market – ‘Instant Coffee’
Watch
Never heard of these guys before but after listening to Instant Coffee I do have some mixed results for it. A good rap song but not what I could call top notch, but at least it’s an effort, not quite sure about having lyrics frequently mentioning coffee. Not bad video and it’s got something of an Ant & Dec feel to it
Tensnake ft Nile Rogers & Fiora – ‘Sublime’
Watch
Since Coma Cat I hadn’t heard very much from Tensnake though it was released in 2014 but either way definitely a pleasant surprise. Filled with electronic beats and bass and the female vocals just fit in and add to the quality of the music. A smooth progression since Coma Cat.
