Lindsay Lohan turns back to acting with a new Netflix Christmas romantic comedy.

Recently Netflix confirmed that Lindsay Lohan has been cast as a lead in an untitled holiday romantic comedy. This movie will be directed by Janeen Damian and produced by the streamer’s go-to Christmas pic producer MPCA.

Lohan caught to fame as an 11-year-old actor in a 1998 film “The Parent Trap.” After “Freaky Friday” and “Mean Girls;” she became an A-list star. But for the last few years because of her issues, Lohan keep herself from acting. Later she has been started living in both Europe and Dubai.

Lohan has been away from front-of-camera roles for so long. The plot centers on a newly engaged, spoiled hotel heiress (Lohan) who gets into a skiing accident and, suffering from amnesia, finds herself in the care of a handsome lodge owner in the days leading up to Christmas. The rest of the cast will be announced soon.

Maybe the team of this film is going for shooting next November and the released date has not been set yet.

Every year Netflix has released new Christmas original movies from the last few years. They released Jingle Jangle, A Christmas Prince, The Christmas Chronicles, and Christmas on the Square.
