The popular Coachella Music Festival was stopped for three years due to Covid 19 pandemic. The Coachella Valley Music Festival returned to the Empire Polo Field in Indio.

The festival kicked off in Weekend 1 schedule from April 15- April 17 and is headed to bang in Weekend 2 from April 22 – 24 April.   

Previous History

In 1999, The Coachella Music Festival started its official journey and yearly gained popularity as a music and arts festival. Every year The Coachella Music Festival takes place on the last weekend of April. The name Coachella came after the city of Riverside County, California. This festival is primarily named the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. At first, this festival was allotted for two days festival but afterward, it was converted into three days festival.

Recently Coachella 2022 festival finished its Weekend 1 festival from April 15 to 17 at the Empire Polo Club Indio, Southern California. As previously announced Coachella 2022 will be taking place at the Weekend 2 festival from April 22 to 24. Headliners of Coachella this year are Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, and the Swedish House Mafia. Kanye West will be replaced by The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia. Weekend 1 festival has been done recently on 15 to 17 April. Bang this summer festival season with Coachella Music Festival 2022, Weekend 2.

Camping facilities

Coachella festival began with the camping facility in the year 2002. There are some rules for getting the camping facility. A tent could be used by the guests next to the lawn of the festival ground. The camping ground was settled by the authority nearby the polo field and it’s prohibited to pollute and damage the ground. The festival authority prohibits bringing audio recording equipment, professional cameras, outside foods and beverages, blankets, and chairs. All types of drugs and alcohol are totally not allowed on the lawn. Recycle system from organizers set the system of getting a fresh bottle of water in exchange for ten empty plastic water bottles.
