Noel Clarke age of 45 an Award-winning actor and producer has been suspended by Bafta for the allegations of sexual harassment and bullying made against him by 20 women, a Guardian investigation reports that.
Clarke was famous for his BBC series Doctor. Recently he faces accusations of bullying, harassment and abuse woman. These all women were known with Clarke in a professional capacity where he tried to engaged with them in unwanted touching, sextually inappropriate behave.
To, The Guardian Clarke said a statement: “In a 20-year career, I have put inclusivity and diversity at the forefront of my work and never had a complaint made against me. If anyone who has worked with me has ever felt uncomfortable or disrespected, I sincerely apologize I vehemently deny any sexual misconduct or wrongdoing and intend to defend myself against these false allegations.”
Bafta took a statement that until further notice they suspend Clarke membership and the Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema award instantly. Although he executed with the Bafta for Outstanding Contribution to Cinema, also received the Bafta Rising Star award in 2009.
Clarke is married to former make-up artist Iris Da Silva they have three children. He wrote and starred in a film trilogy Kidulthood, Adulthood and Brotherhood and also directed two of them.
