Sisimpur: A joy for young minds!

Halum, Tuktuki, Ikri, and Shiku are beloved characters from Sisimpur, charming and educating generations of children. In the Sheikh Russell Shishu Chattar at the Boi Mela, they perform skits on Fridays and Saturdays at 11:30 AM, 3:30 PM, and 6:30 PM. This live entertainment is a cherished break from screens, offering interactive storytelling for children.

Bangabandhu Brahmaman Library: A library on wheels

A mobile library, introduced at the Ekushey Boi Mela by the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges and Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, offers a diverse collection of books near the Dhaka University metro rail station. Open from 3 PM to 8 PM, this library serves as a “milon mela,” bringing together people from all walks of life who share a love for.
