Chord Shapes

• C: Place your index finger on the first fret of the B string, middle finger on the second fret of the D string, and ring finger on the third fret of the A string.
• Am: Place your index finger on the second fret of the A string, middle finger on the third fret of the D string, and ring finger on the third fret of the G string.
• F: Place your index finger on the first fret of the A string, middle finger on the second fret of the D string, and ring finger on the third fret of the G string.
• G: Strum all six strings.

Rhythm

• DUDUUDU: This rhythm is a simple strumming pattern that can be played with down-strokes (↓) only.
• DUDUDDU: This rhythm is a variation of the first pattern, with the addition of an upstroke (↑) on the fourth beat.
• DUDUDDD: This rhythm is another variation of the first pattern, with the omission of the second down-stroke (↓)
