All the must-know hair, makeup moments from the Spring 2024 runways
Victoria Beckham’s Spring 2024 runway featured fresh-faced models with wispy eyelashes, showcasing a minimalist makeup look. Marni embraced maximalism with glittery lips and eyelids to match the oversized 3D floral dresses in their collection. Alexander McQueen featured models on Sarah Burton’s final runway for the house with classic bold red lips.
Louis Vuitton’s smoky eye makeup, created by Pat McGrath, was diffused and chocolate brown, while Mame Kurogouchi’s eye look featured shimmering blue inner and outer corners, giving it a galactic feel. Carven’s makeup played with pops of lavender and green metallic shadows. The most eye-catching nail look came from Coperni, with metal accessories outlining the models’ nails for a futuristic effect.
Some of the most notable hair trends from Paris Fashion Week included slicked-back, Greaser-esque hair at Loewe, sleek messy buns at Dior, and stylistic hair parts with lots of hair gel at Mugler.
A unique hair trend emerged on the Rabanne runway, with models sporting baby hairs plastered messily across their foreheads, giving the impression of an accidental bedhead. This unexpected touch added a touch of laid-back coolness and balance to the collection’s overall glitz and glamour.
Cecilie Bahnsen and Christopher Esber also opted for softer, more effortless hairstyles, with loose braids and free-flowing natural curls, respectively. Paris runways favored headbands this season, notably Chanel’s black floral and Givenchy’s curved metal styles.
