Award-winning Australian Americana artist Helen Townsend asks – ‘Is This Love’ with brand new single!
And what a question it is, and in musical format to. For someone like me who has never heard of Helen Townsend I will admit that I was pleasantly surprised by her song of recapturing and reigniting lost loves. Americana music always seems to have a diary-style feel when it comes to love and affection

VIDEO Exclusive: JESSICA WILDE unleashes Kay Holden directed visual for ‘Freak Out’!
Having seen some of her earlier music videos I am impressed by Jessica’s latest, it’s a progression. What I like about it is how it has that 90’s R&B/Hip-Hop feel to it in that it’s energetic and mixes visual FX and cartoon clips. For a collaboration it’s got that stamp on it and fits Jessica’s music perfectly

ISLA RICO – Release Vibrant Indie-Electro of “Maliblues” || + Confirm Debut EP ‘Eternal Optimist’
From start to finish this is an incredible track from Isla Rico and mixes both indie and electronic dance music to perfection. This is one of those songs where you could either mosh or dance to. Song wise the lyrics are somewhat intriguing as it’s about the day after the night before. Must’ve been a great night

THE IRREPRESSIBLES – Returns with “Transformation of Acceptance” Single Today || + New EP – out 2 Oct
Jamie Irrepressible follow to Self-Love, Transformation of Acceptance, and it does play on the heart strings a bit. In Acceptance, Jamie reflects on feelings of self and towards others from his earlier years and in the present. The sombre tone of the music and his deep husky voice bring out the sorrow of the song as it’s from a personal place. A beautiful track in itself

ALEX NICOL – Reveals soothing “Working On My Tan” Single || + Announces ‘Been A Long Year Vol.1 & Vol.2’ this Dec
American singer songwriter delves into the mindset of self-protection and not being comfortable with how we see ourselves. It’s a soft with that has that melancholy feel to it in not being entirely at one with yourself as you feel but projecting a kind of idiosyncratic one instead. The song has an almost tranquil yet sombre tone throughout.
