For a heartbreak track Fred can do the whole heartfelt emotional part rather well, and you can tell he wore his on his sleeve. The part which makes melodic and more fitting of the mood is that it’s performed solely as an acoustic. Actually, quite a good song and probably a good one for the playlist to. When you first start listening it’s easy to think that the entire tune is about faith. It’s after you have listened a few times more you realize it’s just references. Instead, what Jim’s done is he’s taken the words and used them to describe things in life that we have no control of. That’s where the lyrics are quite cleverly put together. A nice indie track here.
