    When all the next-generation line-ups were gathered under one roof, ROCK N RHYTHM was the event that people remembered as a diverse music festival. An occasion that nobody will soon forget, and to revisit the moments,
    Adventor Communications is pleased to present Rock N' Rhythm *.* Tribute Fiesta, an epic day of music featuring some of the best rock and metal bands in Bangladesh, which will take place on Friday at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the nation's capital. The event will feature heartfelt homages to globally popular bands.
    Organizers told us that the show would be a stunning display of rock and metal music that would be sure to make an impression. A concert that will leave you with countless memories



    The twelve most well-known bands in Bangladesh will all perform live during the event, including Artcell, which will pave its "Tribute to the Legends."

    Nemesis, which will cover Coldplay and Incubus,

    Cryptic Fate (Iron Maiden),

    Arbovirus (Linkin Park, Green Day),

    Powersurge (Metallica),

    Indalo (Audioslave),

    Mechanix (Alter Bridge, Pantera),

    Karnival (Radiohead, Nirvana),

    Ionic Bond (Eluveitie Children of Bodom),

    Echoes (Pink Floyd),

    Unmaad (AC/DC, Guns n' Roses) and

    Shonar Bangla Circus will play tributes to Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, and Bob Marley.



    Today's concert will take place at ICCB Hall *, and the gates will open at * p.m. The live shows are scheduled to start at *:30 pm and probably end at 11 pm.

    Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA), the largest and oldest organization of sports journalists and writers in the country, has completed 60 years with glory. On this special occasion of the 60th anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) on Friday, December 30, 10 sports personalities will be honored for their success at the national and international levels after independence through a colorful ceremony.

    10 athletes in seven disciplines were selected by a *-member judgment panel. Kazi Salahuddin and late Monem Munna in football, Mashrafe bin Mortuza and Shakib Al Hasan in cricket, the late Shah Alam in athletics, Mosharraf Hossain Khan in swimming, Mosharraf Hossain in boxing, Niaz Morshed in chess, Asif Hossain Khan in shooting and Siddiqur Rahman in golf.

    At the same time, 10 sports journalists and writers will be awarded Diamond Jubilee Awards in recognition of their special contribution to sports journalism in the country. They are - Abdul Hamid, Tawfiq Aziz Khan, Badi-uz-Zaman, Muhammad Kamruzzaman, Abdul Tauhid, Ataul Haque Mallik, Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, Dilu Khandkar, Shahidul Azam and Mustafa Mamun.

    A special honor will be given to the former captain of the national cricket team, ASM Rokibul Hasan, who showed infinite bravery by writing the 'Joy Bangla' slogan on the bat on the eve of the great independence war of 1971. BSPA President Sanat Babla, Vice President Kazi Shahidul Alam, and General Secretary Md. Saman Hossain.
