Since horror is a difficult genre to master, there are a few Bangladeshi horror films that may appeal to audiences. Among them, 'Moshari' is proudly abiding its award while also boosting the film industry as a whole. The film was also chosen for the 'Marché du Film - Festival de Cannes' and the Fantastic 7 section of the 'SITGES Festival International de Cinema Fantàstic de Catalunya'.

In March of this year, 'Moshari' made its global premiere at the SXSW Film Festival 2022. Recently at the Atlanta Film Festival (ALTFF) 2022, Bangladeshi filmmaker Nuhash Humayun's horror short film 'Moshari' won the Jury Award for Best Narrative Short. In all three short film categories, the ATLFF qualifies for the Academy Awards.

'Moshari' is a traditional South Asian mosquito net, made for protection against swine at night. When the world is overrun with bloodthirsty creatures, the last of mankind persist in Dhaka, Bangladesh by spending their nights inside the moshari - the only known shelter from the unknown threat. Two sisters, Apu and Ayra, played by ‘No Dorai’ actor Sunerah Binte Kamal and Nuhash Humayun’s niece Nairah Onora Saif, must navigate this strange new world to survive. However, their strained relationship is becoming as much of a threat as the dangers outside. One night, when Ayra’s curiosity lures her outside the safety of the moshari, Apu must rise to the occasion - as they face their demons, together,” reads the official synopsis.
