The pop culture festival's official anthem was made available on social media on Monday. The song, titled "Escape," was composed by the musicians Raef Al Hasan Rafa, Shishir Ahmed, and Black Zang in collaboration with the heavy metal band Mechanix.
Sheikh M. Reaz, the band Mechanix's drummer, wrote the song. Black Zang also contributes a rap verse to "Escape". The song's composition was supervised and directed by Shishir Ahmed.
Aftabuzzaman Tridib, vocalist of Mechanix, said that "Mechanix is always committed to giving fans something new. With this "Dhaka Summer Con" theme song, our strategy stayed the same. I sincerely hope that everyone who hears the song will take part in the festival and help it succeed.
"Dhaka Summer Con 2023" will be held for three days on July 13, 14, and 15 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in the capital, organized by MediaQuest. "Escape" is the first pop culture festival theme song ever written. The festival will include events such as comics, cosplay, concerts, gaming, K-pop, hip-hop, and art.
