Pahela Baishakh or Bangla Noboborsho is the first day of the Bengali Calendar. Bengali peoples represent their culture through this festival. People wear festive dresses with women decorating their hair with flowers. White-red color combinations are particularly popular but everyone wears vibrant colors on this day.
