BLACKPINK – ‘Shut Down’ M/V

BLACKPINK has achieved yet another significant milestone on YouTube!

On September 21 at around 4:55 p.m., the girl group’s music video for “Shut Down” achieved 100 million views. KST.

As of last month, BLACKPINK’s pre-release single “Pink Venom” had amassed over 100 million views on YouTube, making it the fastest music video by a female artist to ever reach that milestone.

After “BOOMBAYAH,” “Playing with Fire,” “Whistle,” “As If It’s Your Last,” “Stay,” “DDU-DU DDU-DU,” “Kill This Love,” “How You Like That,” “Ice Cream,” “Lovesick Girls,” and “Pink Venom,” “Shut Down” is now BLACKPINK’s 12th total group music video with over 100 million views.

Elton John, Britney Spears – Hold Me Closer

The video for “Hold Me Closer,” a vibrant, nearly four-minute music video packed with interpretive dance moves, was released by Britney Spears and Elton John. It does not, however, feature Spears or John cameos.

As stated in the music video’s official press release, the music video opens in Mexico City with dancers moving fluidly as a reflection of a “human hug, brilliantly expressing an unfathomable sensation of closeness so lost from the world through the tumult and instability of recent times.”

Twelve-carat toothache, Post Malone’s latest album, didn’t shy away from radio bait despite some disagreements with his label over the release date. According to the artist, the album was an exploration of “the ups and downs, the disarray, and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream.

Benny Blanco, BTS & Snoop Dogg – Bad Decisions

In the UK, BTS’s new collaboration with Snoop Dogg and Benny Blanco is doing well.

The new single from the three artists, “Bad Decisions,” which features BTS vocalists Jin, Jimin, V, and Jungkook and will appear on Benny Blanco’s upcoming album, entered a number of the United Kingdom’s Official Charts on August 12 local time. The Official Charts are frequently referred to as the U.K. equivalent of Billboard’s U.S. charts.

For the week of July 1 to 7, “Bad Decisions” debuted on the Official Singles Sales Chart at position 53.

Since its premiere on August 5, the official music video for “Bad Decisions” has received over 26 million views.
