I have always enjoyed seeing film and theatre productions of Jane Austen's famed novel "Pride And Prejudice" and was looking forward to this alternative version. The very name "Pride & Prejudice (Sort Of)" suggested that it might be somewhat different from what we are used to and to be sure, it was, but at the same time, sticking closely to Austen's original characters and the basic storyline. 

The show is quite frankly, hilarious. It is full of sharp, witty lines and and comical interaction among the participants. The cast perform a variety of roles each and it was amazing to see and hear how they flawlessly flitted from one to the other. The dialogue is interspersed with songs which add to the entertainment and fit well with the story. 

My wife and I attended the production as part of her birthday celebrations and it was a fitting and thoroughly enjoyable end to our day out. Many thanks to Manisha at the Garrick for organising this for us and I can certainly recommend it to anyone who would like to see "Pride And Prejudice" with a different and highly amusing slant.
