My Bible tells me that I should rejoice with those who rejoice and mourn with those who mourn. Next Monday (15th August), I will have the opportunity to do both. I will be thinking of my friends in Bangladesh as they commemorate the assassination of the Founder of their country, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (an event which I remember well) on National Mourning Day. I will also be giving thanks to God for another year of life as I celebrate my birthday. Here's to Monday, 15th August.
