Netflix has been working as a streaming platform for nearly 16 years. With more than 3600 movies and over 1800 TV shows to stream, it is one of the world’s largest streaming platforms. 

Netflix is dominating the industry in the midst of a global pandemic when broadcasting has become one of the dominant media streaming methods. Pushpita Karim writes.

Vikings: Valhalla – Season 1

Vikings: Valhalla has been a big success for Netflix, with viewers enthralled by the exploits of the legendary Vikings as they forge new roads in an ever-changing Europe. It received a 7.7 rating from users. Vikings: Valhalla is a Netflix streaming historical drama series developed by Jeb Stuart. It’s a follow-up to History’s Vikings, and it was shot in County Wicklow, Ireland.
The series set one hundred years after the events of Vikings. It follows the start of the end of the Viking Age, which is marked by the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066. The first episode of the series aired on February 25th. The series was formally renewed for a 2nd and 3rd season in March 2022, with a 24 episodes order confirmed in November 2019.

My Name

Following father’s death, a vengeful woman puts her trust in a strong criminal leader in My Name. My Name is a South Korean web tv show directed by Kim Jin-min and starring Han So-hee, Park Hee-soon, and Ahn Bo-Hyun. A lady enters a gang to punish her father’s murderer, then goes undercover as a cop.  
In October this year, 3 of the 8 episodes were exhibited in the newly constructed ‘On Screen’ section of the 26th Busan International Film Festival. On the 15th of October, 2021, it was released on Netflix.

Inventing Anna

The series starts with Anna Delvey, the Instagram-famous German heiress who captured the hearts of New York’s social scene — and stole their money – and is investigated by a journalist with a lot to prove. Shonda Rhimes created and produced Inventing Anna, an American drama streaming television miniseries based on the story of Anna Sorokin and Jessica Pressler’s article “How Anna Delvey Tricked New York’s Party People” in the New York Times.
On 11 February this year, Netflix released the series. Anna Sorokin, the main protagonist, was played by Julia Garner. Critics gave the series mixed reviews, praising the performances (especially Garner’s) but criticizing the uneven tone.

All of Us are Dead

Inside a school, a zombie virus spreads quickly, turning the affected vicious, this is how the series starts. Students who are in danger battle to stay alive and flee. The majority of the series takes place at a South Korean high school where a zombie apocalypse has rapidly broken out, posing a threat to the kids’ survival.

All of Us Are Dead (Korean: 지금 우리 학교는; RR: Jigeum Uri Hakgyoneun; lit. Now at Our School) is a zombie apocalypse horror streaming television series set in South Korea. Yoon Chan-young, Cho Yi-hyun, Lomon, Yoo In-soo, Lee Yoo-mi, Kim Byung-chul, Lee Kyu-hyung, and Jeon Bae-soo are the stars in the film. The movie is based on the Naver webtoon Now at Our School by Joo Dong-geun, which was published between 2009 and 2011.

Manifest

The crew and passengers of Montego Air Trip 828 discover five years have passed in what seemed like a few hours after landing after a bumpy but regular flight. This is how the series starts. As their new realities become obvious, a deeper mystery emerges, and some of the resurrected passengers realize they may have been destined for something bigger than they ever imagined. Manifest is a Jeff Rake-created American paranormal drama television series that aired on NBC on 24 September 2018.

It revolves around the passengers and crew of a commercial airliner that reappeared after five and a half years after being presumed dead. Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J. R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, and Holly Taylor are among the cast members.
