The most popular girly music group on Wed platform, K-POP, South Korean six-member team GFriend has parted ways with their long-term label. On Tuesday Source Music announced this publicly although one night before that it was just gossip.

In 2015 GFriend was formed and has promoted under this company but yesterday they issued a statement where they revealed the exclusive artist contract between the members and the company will conclude on May 22.

 GFriend’s official account on social media they focused………..

“After careful consideration and extensive discussion, GFriend and Source Music have agreed to follow separate paths to continued growth,”

Last six years, GFriend has won the boundless love of K-pop fans for their wide range of music video concepts, performances, and songs which marked a new generation of girl groups and music. This news will surprise all fans of flowers across the world. This sudden announcement by Source Music also places confusion on social media.

Beyond their group videos, several members have released their own music and solo tracks, including variety shows and acting. They also pursued careers in other entertainment fields.

Already boy band Got7 go out from JYP Entertainment earlier this year and also signed with various entertainment companies which assure their fans that they will remain together.  But now for GFriend’s, it will become unclear and uncertain.
