Metallica is once again ahead in the field of helping needy people. This time they are trying to help refugees from Ukraine who have fled from Ukraine for the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Metallica set up their mind for making a donation to the World Central Kitchen for them.
World Central Kitchen was generally established by Chef Jose Andres for helping those who are suffering from community and climate crises. The foundation provides meals from their altruistic view. Lars Ulrich R, the musician and drummer cheer the WCK Chef Josh Andres that he does an incredible job in all humanitarian crisis by cooking for endangered people.
Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation publicized the set up by the metal legends that they donated about $500,000 for feeding Ukrainian refugees. The foundation seems extremely proud for making support serving millions of Ukrainian refugees who are abandoned in their country around the six European countries.
The band is hoping to raise $1 million amount for the cause in the next two months. Metallica made a plan of selling a new designer t-shirt by artist Andrew Cremeans. All the amount will go to World Central Kitchen’s campaign #ChefsForUkraine. WCK and Metallica foundations work together for sovereign dignity and providing meals with love.
Before during coronavirus crisis Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation donated $350,000 in 2020. The foundation worked for individual communities with their donation. That time they collaborated with a local food bank network for meals, provided personal protective equipment for health workers, and also worked for touring and venue crews.
