A full glass of homemade milkshake with your favorite flavor can cheer you up within no time. As summer is coming and milkshakes are perfect to have to soothe the mind and body. Homemade milkshakes are super easy to make with just a few ingredients.
This week CafeOn brings you recipes on how to make 3 summer favorite milkshakes at home, they are – Vanilla, Chocolate, and Strawberry milkshakes.
Ingredients:
Vanilla Milkshake
- Vanilla ice cream (store-bought or homemade)
- Milk (preferably whole milk)
- Vanilla extract
- Whipped cream topping (optional)
Chocolate Milkshake
- Chocolate ice cream (Vanilla can be used too)
- Milk (preferably whole milk)
- Chocolate syrup
- Whipped cream topping (optional)
- Mini chocolate chips, shaved chocolate, chocolate sprinkles (optional)
Strawberry Milkshake
- Strawberry ice cream (Vanilla can be used too)
- Milk (preferably whole milk)
- Strawberry syrup (strawberry jam/jelly/sauce)
- Fresh or frozen strawberries
- Whipped cream topping (optional)
Method:
Vanilla Milkshake
- Start by adding the ice cream to a blender. If needed you can always add more later.
- Then add in the milk. It’s better not to use as much milk.
- Next, add in the vanilla extract, turn on the blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour the shake into a glass and then top it with some whipped cream if you like and serve.
- Now, put it in the freezer for about 30 minutes.
- Serve and enjoy
Chocolate milkshake
- Add the chocolate ice cream to a blender.
- Then add in the chocolate syrup.
- Next, add in some milk and blend until smooth.
- Pour the chocolate shake in a glass, top with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips, some shaved chocolate, or chocolate sprinkles, all according to your preference.
- Lastly, serve and indulge yourself with this yummy drink!
Strawberry Milkshake
- Start with around 4 scoops of strawberry ice cream in a blender.
- Add in the fresh or frozen strawberries. Better to use frozen strawberries to help make it thicker.
- Now in the strawberry syrup for a rich flavor.
- Then add strawberry jelly or preserves. Also, you can use homemade strawberry sauce or strawberry extract.
- Add some milk and blend until smooth.
- Pour it in a glass and top it off with some whipped cream, and maybe sliced fresh strawberries, red sprinkles, or something like that.
- Serve it with a long spoon or a straw. Enjoy!
