Hey music enthusiasts, ready to rock? This week’s indie music roundup, curated by Adam Humphries, is bursting with fresh tunes, from Past Life Romeo’s alt-pop masterpiece “Sometimes, Most Nights” to Jessica Wilde & Josh Barry’s romantic duet “Love Like This.” Buckle up for anthems, noise, and punk – there’s something musical for everyone!

Past Life Romeo debut single – best alt pop track of 2024, already? “Sometimes, Most Nights”

For a debut single this is actually quite a good track. The line “5am once again” acts as hook because it draws you in and from there you want to know more. What I enjoy about it is that even though it’s about a relationship that’s gone stale each song is like a new perspective. I like the grittiness in the voice

Jessica Wilde & Josh Barry Valentine’s scorcher ‘Love Like This’ out today

Let’s face it, Jessica has never once made a bad song. It’s practically written in her DNA to make great tracks, and this latest one with Josh Barry is no exception. I like how it’s done in a diary type way in that they’re both singing about what they’re feeling. That adds more depth and dimension to the song. Great Valentine’s track with fresh writing

Sheer Mag release new single ‘Eat It And Beat It’ + Announce UK Tour – forthcoming album ‘Playing Favorites’ out March 1st via Third Man

Never actually heard of these guys before but after listening to Eat It and Beat It I am actually intrigued by them now. Don’t know whether you could get away with calling them a punk outfit but the song has definitely got the attitude. Could quite happily listen to this again.

Out of the entire album I’ve openly admit that I’ve just managed to check out a few tracks so far but am definitely liking what I’m hearing. Looking forward to seeing what Sheer Mag get up to next

Adam Green Releases ‘Magic Spells / Vending Machine’ EP – plays EartH, London show on March 27th

I openly admit that whilst I am not a huge fan of Country music there is the odd single or two that will grab my attention. I’ve not heard of Adam Green before but I like the gravelly tone in his voice and gives depth to Magic Spells.

You can catch him on tour next month starting in New York City and ending in the German capital of Berlin
