After introducing the world to her infectious sound earlier this year, pop’s new starlet NADINE follows up with new single ‘Don’t Run’, the second to be taken from her forthcoming EP HERSTORY. ‘Don’t Run’ is a summer smash steeped in a laid-back dancehall-inspired beat. NADINE has again elevated her sound and delivered a track that is nothing short of fresh and exciting, with written contributions from Jess Glynne. She is already cementing herself as one of the hottest rising stars in the UK, and with this latest offering, Don’t Run, which positively documents acceptance, only strengthens her case.

NADINE explains:

“Don’t Run is about facing and accepting a situation that you might not want to admit is happening. Acknowledging and accepting the anxiety, the fear, the hurt and that ball of twisted energy in your stomach. Don’t pretend what you feel isn’t there, so that you can bring love to the parts of you that don’t feel loved. Once you accept this it can show you exactly where you can grow, it can lead to the most beautiful transformation!”

‘Don’t Run’ follows NADINE’s superb first offering ‘Blessed’ which saw support at Radio 1 & Kiss FM, as well as the press, with 1883 Magazine describing the track as “a solid first outing from the talented songwriter thanks to her lush vocals.”

Born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, NADINE formed a passion for music at a young age through her parents’ record collections. Growing up on a steady diet of Garage, Reggae, Soul, R&B and Pop, it was when she discovered Destiny’s Child that her true obsession began. Performing came natural as well, singing for her family on their karaoke machine aged five, NADINE went onto form UK girl group M.O in 2012, touring the UK with Little Mix and releasing multiple platinum selling singles before disbanding in 2018. 

Now into 2023 and with well over a million views across her live cuts on TikTok, NADINE is an undeniably exciting talent and one to watch closely.
