    Prepared By: Rafsan Jani

    𝟏. 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐲
The main goal of my plan is to significantly increase how much users interact and the number of likes across all of WhatsOn's social media. The idea is simple: we need a combined strategy that builds a strong community, shares really helpful content, and uses data to track our success every step of the way.

    𝟐. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐬 & 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐆𝐨𝐚𝐥𝐬
Right now, it's really tough to get people’s attention online because the internet is full of content. Just posting ads or promotions doesn't help us make real, sustainable connections with our audience.
Our goals are quite clear. First, we want to raise our engagement rates on every single platform we use. Second, we want people to genuinely trust our brand and feel loyal to us. Ultimately, we aim to turn people who just follow us into an active, excited, and engaged community.

    𝟑. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧 (𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲)
We will focus on several key areas to achieve our goals.

    𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐇𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
Building a positive, human link with users is very important. We can do this by being open about our business goals and vision, this makes us seem more transparent. A simple way to build trust is to thank customers often for their support.
Sharing inspiring stories, especially about our team or successful students, really helps people connect with our brand.
Using Polls is a great way to get fast opinions from users' immediate interaction easily. We can also ask for help with simple problems or general advice this makes users feel valued.

    𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:
A strong community provides long term benefits for a brand. We should celebrate our brand’s big achievements, like anniversaries or reaching a follower milestone, with our users. Highlighting a Fan of the Week or Best Commenter helps create friendly competition and makes people feel special.
Organizing fun quizzes can make the experience engaging. Posts about future events or webinars need to be exciting, not boring text.
Also, tagging industry influencers in our content can help us reach new audiences through their networks.
Direct questions and answers sessions are powerful ways to connect directly with users and hear their thoughts.

    𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲:
Educational and practical how-to posts and videos are super useful for our audience because they solve real problems. Regular tips can be shared daily.
Posting customer reviews and testimonials builds huge credibility because it’s social proof.
In my opinion, two types of videos are best for reaching a lot of people: Informational videos and Educational videos (how-to guides, lessons). Using these types of content as short Reels will boost engagement very fast.

    𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧:
We should encourage conversation. ‘Caption this’ contests are a lot of fun and drive many comments. We can ask users for recommendations or suggestions in the comments section.
Starting a debate on a trending topic is another good tactic. Even simple Yes or no questions help keep the comment section active all the time.

    𝟒. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐖𝐞'𝐥𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐜𝐤 𝐒𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬:
We must check if our plans are working effectively. We will track specific numbers, called metrics:
Engagement Rate: We will measure the percentage of total likes, comments, and shares we get.
Video Watch Time: This metric is key to judging how good our video content actually is and if people are watching until the end.

  • PROPOSAL TO IMPROVE ENGAGEMENT AND LIKES ACROSS WHATSONPLUS AND WHATSON MEDIA SOCIAL PLATFORMS

    To
    Whatson Media Management Team

Thank you for assigning me this task. After reviewing the WatsonPlus platform, the Facebook page, the LinkedIn company page, and the overall digital footprint of Whatson Media, I have prepared a research-based proposal covering organic growth, paid campaigns, content structuring, platform optimization, community-building, and user engagement across WatsonPlus and external social media channels.

This proposal aligns with my background in digital marketing, content creation, sales execution, CRM workflows, client acquisition, and multi-platform marketing from Toppay, Graaho, and NexKraft. I have managed diverse brand pages, acquired B2B and B2C users, coordinated with partners, planned campaigns, and scaled digital presence in competitive markets.

*. Evaluation of Current Digital Presence

    *.* WhatsonPlus Application
WatsonPlus has potential as an entertainment and news platform but lacks structured user engagement. Daily cycles, optimized notifications, personalization, and interactive features need improvement to build consistent usage habits.

    *.* Facebook Page
The page needs stronger content consistency, optimized formats, reels, storytelling, and a unified brand identity supported by a content calendar.

    *.* LinkedIn Page
LinkedIn requires more professional content to strengthen B2B visibility, highlight achievements, partnerships, industry insights, and company culture.

    *. Alignment With My Experience

Toppay: Built and managed digital presence, created content, coordinated with B2B partners.
Graaho: Managed campaigns for multiple brands, carried out LinkedIn marketing, CRM, and client acquisition.
NexKraft: Led global lead generation, email marketing, CRM, and project coordination.

These roles trained me to plan and execute scalable digital strategies.

    *. Organic Growth Strategy

A 30-day content plan will establish consistency.

Content formats include fast infotainment videos, creator-led segments, graphical explainers, polls and quizzes, and behind-the-scenes stories.

    Posting frequency:
    Facebook: *–* posts daily
    LinkedIn: *–* posts weekly
WatsonPlus: *–* daily highlights plus notifications

    *. Paid Growth Strategy

    Awareness campaigns to increase visibility.
Engagement campaigns to boost high-performing posts and page likes.
App install campaigns optimized for in-app activity.
LinkedIn campaigns targeting agencies, advertisers, and corporate clients.

    *. WhatsonPlus App Engagement Strategy

Daily trending banners, scheduled notifications (morning, afternoon, evening), topic recommendations, polls, and in-app exclusive content will improve retention and daily activity.

    *. Research and Strategic Analysis

Competitor analysis: formats, frequency, visuals, and interaction styles.
Audience analysis: students, professionals, news readers, tech enthusiasts.
Hashtag research: optimized sets for each content type.
Data tracking: impressions, reach, CTR, shares, saves, and retention.

    *. Community Engagement Development

Quick responses to comments, active sharing in university and interest groups, and collaborations with micro-influencers to expand reach and improve authenticity.

    *. Platform-Specific Content Themes

Facebook: breaking news visuals, reels, daily highlights, storytelling.
LinkedIn: achievements, press releases, insights, culture stories, partnerships.
morning briefings, hot stories, category-based feeds, long reads.

    *. Why I Am a Strong Fit

I bring multi-brand experience, Meta ads expertise, CRM management, content creation skills, and fast adaptability. My previous roles show proven ability to improve digital presence and drive user acquisition.

    10. Three-Month Implementation Plan

Month *: Brand guidelines, content calendar, posting consistency, awareness ads, engagement tracking, basic notifications.

Month *: Interactive content, micro-influencers, Page Like campaigns, optimized notifications, improved app banners.

Month *: App-install campaigns, LinkedIn scaling, advanced optimization, retention features, influencer expansion.

This proposal delivers a structured plan to significantly enhance engagement, visibility, and user interaction across WhatsonPlus and WhatsOn Media platforms. If approved, I am prepared to begin execution immediately.

  • To increase engagement and likes on WhatsOn Plus, I would focus on making it feel like a real community, not just another content platform. I’d start by closely understanding what our audience truly enjoys whether that’s local events, trending activities, food spots, travel ideas, or lifestyle content and then present those stories in eye-catching formats like reels, short videos, and carousels.
I’d make the platform more interactive by using polls, quizzes, ‘this or that’ stories, and fun challenges that invite people to take part instead of just scrolling. Encouraging user-generated content would be a big focus, so users feel excited to share their own experiences and get featured.
I’d also work with local creators and micro-influencers to reach audiences in a more authentic way. By regularly testing posting times, hashtags, and captions and running themed campaigns and giveaways my goal would be to make WhatsOn Plus a part of people’s daily routine.

  • How Do Free Apps Make Money

Making money with free apps is a trending topic in the mobile application development world. The mobile app industry has been active for over a decade and is now generating billions of dollars in the revenue. Research shows from 2021 to 2022 the app and **** revenues increased by 19.*% to $133 Billion and most of these Free Apps and games are free to download upfront and then charge for subscription or in-app purchases. Hence, it’s an estimate that the mobile app industry is most likely to hit a whopping $407.31 Billion by 2026. With more than three billion smartphone users, the industry keeps on expanding and bringing more revenue in the upcoming years.

While there is so much growth and spread of apps across the globe, the demand for custom app development is at an all-time high. For App Tech startups, the app is a core product, but even for non-app tech startups the app is an essential tool to engage with their customers and users and to improve the overall business process. Hence this makes startups and entrepreneurs curious for answers to a few questions.

Popular Revenue Models For How Do Free Apps Make Money

    *. Revenue through Mobile Advertising

In-app advertisement method, the most common and easiest method to implement when it comes to money-making apps via a third-party ad network like Google AdMob or Tapjoy (iron source) etc. As per the latest report by business standard the global mobile ad spend is going to reach $362 Billion and $412 Billion in 2023 and 2024 respectively. The free app market has always outnumbered the paid ones when it comes to profit and download numbers, however an app should have a large user base in order to convert that into significant revenue through in-app ads.

*. App Monetization through Sponsorships / Sponsored Content

Another interesting and exciting method to earn money from a mobile app is sponsorship. In this method, the app owner needs to figure out the appropriate platform to launch the app. A platform or brand that has its identity before and a great audience base should be preferred.

    *. In-app Purchase Freemium Model

Another way to make money with free mobile apps is to offer in-app purchases in a Freemium Model. A Freemium Model means you offer some features of the Apps for free, while charge for some premium features. These are purchases that are made while the app is open. In-app purchases include things like extra lives, bonus levels in a ****, or virtual goods in a social media app.

    *. App Subscription Model

The App subscription-based model is one of the most popular and finest app monetization strategies over the last few years, however it is also a part of the in-app purchase. In this method, users can subscribe to join, try for a while, and then pay a regular monthly fee for access. Subscription-based apps tend to see higher revenue per user than apps with other business models. This type of monetization is recommended for cloud-based services, audio and video streaming apps or OTT Apps, and Media Services etc. As per the Subscription Trade Association, 75% of distributor-to-consumer businesses will have a subscription-based leg of their business by 2023.
