    Every footballer remembers their first ever goal on the national team shirts for a long time. But Chloe Kelly will remember it for her whole life!

    Why not? She scored the decider goal for the first major trophy for the English Women's football team. England defeated the eight-time champions Germany to book the trophy for the Lionesses. It is also England’s first international trophy since 1966.

    The Lionesses beat Germany 2-1 at Wembley with goals from Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly. The teams went into half-time level at 0-0 after an even first 45 minutes that saw a handful of half chances, then both teams scored in the second half. The game drifted into the extra time, It was all white. On this memorable day in English football history, Sarina Wiegman's side displayed their reign against a strong and physical German team.

    “Honestly it’s amazing,” Kelly expressed herself after the final whistle. “This is what dreams are made of.”

    Fun fact is - at the 1966 World Cup of England, which was also against Germany, also at Wembley displayed with an extra-time winner.

    Attendances at matches have also broken records. 87,192 spectators watched the final in Wembley also made history, drawing the largest attendance for any Euro match — men’s or women’s. The success of the Lionesses has gripped the host nation.

    England proceeded into the final being unbeaten in 19 games under their Dutch coach Sarina Wiegman, In this tremendous journey, England scored 104 goals and conceded only 4. The confidence has gifted the English with glory throughout the tournament, and it's finally home!

    Bangladesh Football Federation has taken initiative to stand by the flood victims. Bangladesh's national women's football team will play two friendly matches against Malaysia. The two matches will be played tomorrow and June 26 at Birshreshtha Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur. From there, all the money received through the ticket sales of the matches will be given to the flood victim's fund.

    Speaking at a press conference before the friendly match at the BFF building on June 22nd, BFF Women's Committee Chairman Mahfuza Akhter said, "𝘞𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘭𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘮𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘚𝘺𝘭𝘩𝘦𝘵.
