  • WHAT a coincident, I find myself attending a course in Fircroft College. George Cadbury Jnr, founder of Cadbury Chocolate, turned his house in to a College in 1909. This was for his workers, encouraging them to increase their knowledge and skills to help them to meet their potential and pass their learning on to their comrades. Deep in the village his house is the College, next to it Student Accommodation, transforming lives for a better world.

  • “Religious suffering is, at one and the same time, the expression of real suffering and a protest against real suffering. Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, and the soul of soulless conditions. It is the opium of the people.” - KARL MARX
