KG shares her new single ‘Koko feat. Mista Silva’

North-London-based British-Ghanaian polymath, KG shares her glorious new single ‘Koko feat. Mista Silva’ a gorgeous, sun-soaked Afro beats track, manifesting joyful, hot summer days on Wednesday.
'Future Bounce' label, teaming up with Brockley-based British-Ghanaian artist Mista Silva was a no-brainer. A dreamy, rhythmic track rich with KG’s very own powerful and sensual vocals is a beautiful collaboration that nods to their shared heritage.
Speaking on the single, KG said, “Your sensual party record, straight to the point, I am expressing my sexual desires towards my lover. This has a South African ‘Amapiano-esque’ bounce to it with beautiful Ghanaian Akan Highlife influences. It is something for the summer.”
A multi-faceted artist, DJ, producer, and broadcaster, KG has been an innovative and percussive dance music luminary for nearly a decade. African polyrhythms, low-end sub-basses, and energetic drum patterns that showcase the evolving sound of London’s club music hybridity and bounce - KG’s sound is informed by the UK scene, yet also rooted in her ‘sense of home’.
